This is a complete system comprising primer, basecoat and clearcoat products designed to work seamlessly together. It is backed by an extensive colour formulation library which contains in excess of 29,000 colour matches. This includes popular COLORBOND® and powder coat colours, as well as many matches for older vehicles (Note: For modern vehicle colours use the Paraglaze Tinter System). 330 Acrylic Lacquer is a thermoplastic acrylic lacquer designed for the repair and refinishing of motor vehicles. It has been developed in Australia for Australian conditions and is based on the latest and most innovative paint technology.

330 Acrylic Lacquer Tinter System consists of a range of acrylic lacquer tinters, including basecoat tinters and special effect pearls to allow for matching of modern colours that are painted in clear over base finishes.

There is an extensive colour formula library available and the range is constantly reviewed and added to as new model colours become available.

Colours mixed using 330 basecoat tinters must be topcoated with 512-9201 Acrylic Lacquer Super Clear to duplicate the depth and metallic pattern of original clear over base finishes.

363 Automotive Enamel is a one pack alkyd that is highly resistant to outdoor weathering, yellowing and adhesion and exhibits outstanding durability.

The 363 Automotive Enamel Tinter System includes metallic tinters that enables a broader range of colours to be matched. There is an extensive colour formula library available and the range is constantly added to.

Paraglaze 64 is a gloss only system that is a premium quality, two pack acrylic urethane coating. It has been developed in Australia, for Australian conditions, and has superior resistance to UV when compared to most imported similar products.

Paraglaze 64 leverages the colour capability of the well regarded Paraglaze Tinter System. In fact, to support the launch of Paraglaze 64, new tinters are being added to the Paraglaze Gloss range that significantly upgrade the colour reach in the area of solid colours as well as single layer (mono) metallics into brighter and cleaner shades.

Customers who have perhaps a colour library of their matches can reproduce those colours, or at very least, get a good approximation, with the use of the RAPIDMATCH® X-5 spectrophotometer, connected to Protec’s PAINTMANAGER® software suite.

Protec Clear Basecoat Blender is a ready for use blending aid that has excellent clarity to give as seamless a blend as possible.

It can be used to assist in the blending of Paraglaze Basecoat, particularly light metallic colours, to minimise potential differences in colour between the original finish and the repair area. It will also aid in minimising the appearance of scratches in the basecoat.

Protec Flex Add is a flexibilising additive to be used in 2K topcoats that are applied over flexible plastics.

It must be used in Paraglaze Gloss and Carmaster DG and other recommended Protec products when applied over flexible plastics to ensure proper flexibility of the paint film.

Protec Accelerator Additive is formulated to be used in Paraglaze Gloss and selected Protec 2K topcoats and primers for air dry situations and to provide shorter bake times, achieving a harder film more quickly.

It must only be used in the Protec products as recommended in the Technical Data Sheet to ensure proper performance of the product.

Protec Accelerator Additive cannot be used in clearcoats.

Protec Plastics Cleaner is a special blend of cleaning solvents designed to be non-agressive to unpainted plastic substrates

It also contains an anti-static additive which reduces the chance of static build up prior to painting.

Protec Heavy Duty Wax & Grease Remover is a ready-for-use specially formulated blend of strong cleaning solvents used in surface preparation. It removes stubborn solventborne contaminants such as wax, grease, dirt, tar and silicone polish residues from most surfaces prior to sanding and painting.

Protec Glass Prep is used as part of glass preparation to ensure proper adhesion of Paraglaze Gloss and Paraglaze Basecoat to the glass.

The use of AH-6450 Protec Glass Additive Hardener should be used in Paraglaze Gloss or Paraglaze Basecoat as recommended to create a paint system that adheres to glass.

​The AquaMax Extra Basecoat Under Bonnet Repair Process is designed to simplify and speed up repairs to vehicles where the finish in the engine bay area is different to the external finish.

It can be used where the engine bay of a vehicle is finished in a different colour to the external panels or where the engine bay is simply a lower gloss version of the external colour.

Paraglaze Multiprime is a two pack acrylic urethane primer specifically designed for application under Paraglaze Basecoat and Paraglaze Gloss.

It is mainly used as a primer surfacer or wet-on-wet primer, however it can also be used as a primer filler.

Paraglaze Multiprime offers excellent surface levelling, sanding and gloss holdout and can also be tinted with Paraglaze Gloss (PT-G) tinters.

Paraglaze CT 2K HP Epoxy Primer is an adhesion promoting, wet on wet and sandable primer recommended for commercial transport vehicle coating.
