Colour Cards?
Protec have a number of colour swatches available for Automotive as well as an Industrial Colour Card.

Can you match competitors’ colours?
Yes. Trained staff are able to find the exact colour you are after in the Protec range.

What is your delivery time?
We have a dedicated delivery service to all metro areas on a daily basis.

I can’t find the right colour match. What can I do?
Try ColourBase3. Alternatively, speak to one of our customer service representatives. They will be more than happy to help find you the best match.

What is your distribution network like?
We have 16 Company owned stores & many Independent Distributors all over Australia and New Zealand. A full list of our distributors can be found on our how to buy page.

How does your price compare to others? 
We are very competitive.  We strive to offer customers superior coatings at a very reasonable price.

What is your product quality like?
Our products are made under strictly controlled standards. We conform to Bureau Veritas Quality International and National Association of Testing Authorities testing quality standards. We are quality assured to AS/NZS ISO 9001.

Why do your coatings last longer than others?
We spend a great deal of our time testing our coatings under harsh Australian conditions. We test our products for long-life. If we are not satisfied that a product will provide a longer service life, we do not release it.

Are your products guaranteed?
Our products are all guaranteed to perform to their specifications. Selected automotive products come with a lifetime warranty. Feel free to contact your local branch and ask about our autoguard Warranty.

What is your complaints resolution process?
We take customer complaints very seriously.  We promptly examine any complaints and provide assistance to the best of our abilities and resources to overcome any issues. 

How do I recognise a good coating? 
The best coatings contain higher volumes of solid materials. The more solid materials in a paint, the greater the coverage. A doubling of the solid materials in a paint, for example, often doubles the paint area coverage.  When it comes to coating durability, the secret is the use of a high quality binder. When an inferior binder is used, the more likely the product is to fail prematurely.

Is Protec an environmentally friendly company?
We are dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest available environmentally friendly technology. Our manufacturing facility is under constant scrutiny to conform & improve performance as we strive for “Worlds Best Practice” in EH&S conformance. Developing high performance products that are better for the environment is a significant part of our research commitment. The recent release of several Lead Free tinters is an example.

How can I ensure I get the fastest product delivery?
We suggest you fax your order through. Please double check the product codes and volumes. An error here can substantially delay processing.   Please place orders well in advance to allow ample time for picking, processing, and delivery.  Dispatch is normally same day.
